Direction and production

Notes from the Director

Eva Danzl

I realized of my fascination for visual arts and filming documentaries only a few years ago. My main occupation since 1996 has been to work at FIZ Advocacy and Support for Migrant Women and Victims of Trafficking, supporting migrant women who are victims of exploitation or violence.

From 2007 to 2010, I took different classes on film language, film editing, and documentary film at Zurich EB, the professional school for advanced training. I graduated in 2011-2013 in video-editing.

What I am really interested in is the link between my job at the NGO and my personal and political engagements by using creativity. What I want is to turn the basic questions of life into visual art. I want to show the political, social, and human-rights aspects of our existence with a hint of poetry and humor (as far as possible).
